now for the one mile course on Bath Half Marathon
race day
The new 2008 NICU Marathon
Mile Fun Run will be held on the Sunday 16th
March, just after the start of the Bath Half
Marathon. The one mile course is in aid of the
NICU ‘space to grow’ Campaign, and
welcomes participants of all ages and abilities.
The event will be staged on
an out and back traffic free course, starting
and finishing on Great Pulteney Street, and
all runners will be chip timed. Children under
11 must be accompanied by an adult and on completion
of the race, every runner will receive a medal,
goody bag and Marathon Mile t-shirt.
Even if you don’t think
you are up to running the full mile you could
walk, be pushed in a push chair, or even dress
up, and hop, skip and jump the mile course.
This is also the perfect activity for family
members to take part in a race of their own
whilst their loved ones are out running the
full half marathon course.
Entries
for the NICU Marathon Mile Fun Run are now available
on-line through the race website at www.runninghigh.co.uk
or by downloading
a postal entry form.
