On Saturday 7th June 2008, over 100 Forever Friends supporters took on the challenge of the very first ‘Vanessa Kyte Canal Walk’ – a 21 mile walk along the canal from Devizes to Bath. It was fantastic to see so many committed walkers raising funds for the Cancer Unit and NICU ‘space to grow’ Campaign. The weather was beautiful, and the enthusiasm of everyone on the day was truly incredible. The Appeal would therefore like to congratulate all our walkers who participated in this incredible challenge!

We are hoping to run this event again in 2009, in memory of Vanessa - stalwart supporter and Vice President of The Forever Friends Appeal who sadly passed away from Cancer in November 2007.
