All our 2012 Charity Golden bond places are now filled.

The Forever Friends Appeal has been chosen by the Bath Half Marathon as one of its 2012 Featured Charities.

The 13.1 mile Bath Half Marathon will be held on 11 March 2012 and covers a flat course which takes in many of the sights of the city centre. As a member of Ted’s Team you will receive:

• - Free team running vest
• - A supporter pack with fundraising hints and tips
• - Post-race treats
• - Free goody bag
• - Training advice sheets

We will be there on the day to cheer you around the course at our dedicated cheering points and also have our marquee in the Runners’ Village prepared to make the beginning and end of your race as welcoming and comfortable as possible.

All our Golden Bond runners have pledged to raise a minimum £175 sponsorship for The Forever Friends Appeal, which will be matched by the High Sheriff’s Challenge doubling all the income raised from the event.

Ted’s Team has a history of supporting departments within the RUH, none more significant than the recently opened Dyson Centre for Neonatal Care, which has a room dedicated to the hard work of our marathon runners! We hope that the 2012 event will build on this success for the Cancer Care Campaign.
