The corsham St George’s 10k & 2k runs are organised by Corsham Running Club.
It follows a scenic route through Corsham and out to Neston, returning back through Prospect and Pound Pill. It is flat for the first kilometre, followed by a gradual incline for the next 3, then gently undulating, but with a short hill towards the end, followed by a flat last kilometre.
As with previous years, the race will once again be run on the theme of St George’s Day and those who class themselves as ‘Fun runners’ are encouraged to dress accordingly, regardless of whether you are a George or a Dragon. The event is also hoping to attract more spectators this year with a BBQ, bar and refreshments, plus various stalls, pre-race music and entertainment.
