When we lose a loved one, it is only natural that we seek ways of remembering.  At the Royal United Hospitals, we recognise this by holding four poignant events over the year that give families, friends and carers an opportunity to remember together, and in a meaningful and sensitive way.

Please join us for our next special event ‘A Flower to Remember’.

Date: Wednesday 12th September 2018

Time: 3.00 pm

Location: The new Spiritual Care Centre, Ground Floor, Zone D, Princess Anne Corridor, RUH

This will be a moving, supportive and uplifting afternoon to celebrate the lives of loved ones and share special memories together. As part of the ceremony, you can join us to plant a flower bulb in the new courtyard garden in their memory, that will bloom and flourish year after year creating a lasting tribute.

The ‘ Flower to Remember’ ceremony, is a beautiful way to honour a loved one in the hospital’s new Spiritual Care Centre that instantly brings a feeling of comfort and is a wonderful space for contemplation no matter what faith or beliefs you have.

This event is open to everyone in the local community, but to help us with numbers for refreshments, please can you confirm your attendance by clicking here

A collection on the day will go towards the work of the RUH to help it continue to provide the very best care and treatment that changes the lives of patients and their families every single day.

If you are unable to join us, but would like a bulb planted on your behalf in memory of your loved one, please download this form and return to Jan Witt, In Memory & Legacy Officer, The Forever Friends Appeal along with your donation.
