This role is offered at 22.5 hours per week. The hours are normally between Monday to Friday (office hours: 9am – 5.30pm), but with occasional out of hours activity at evenings and weekends

As a valued member of our busy Fundraising Team, you will be looking after our wonderful supporters who are fundraising for the RUH, to benefit patients and the incredible clinical staff who look after them. Working under the direction of the Marketing & Communications Manager and supporting other members of the Forever Friends team you will provide effective marketing and communications support.

This is a very varied role which involves a wide range of duties including the creation of marketing resources and social media content to recruit and engage supporters including newsletters, mailings, e-newsletters, resource packs and other marketing materials. Research and collate regular patient and donor case studies to be used in case for support documents, newsletter, impact reports, promotional resources and social media. Drafting and processing Press Releases across all fundraising programmes. You will need bags of initiative, be innovative, brave and positive about learning new ways of working.

A strong team player and able to work autonomously juggling multiple activities simultaneously. You will be given SMART objectives, both financial and non-financial, will be allocated, so the post holder must be ambitious and target driven.

Ideally the successful candidate will have some experience in fundraising marketing and communications and the desire to develop a career in the charity sector whilst being part of an ambitious team putting smiles on the faces of our patients, NHS staff and supporters.

Legacy & Projects Co-ordinator

Working under the direction of the Legacy & Tribute Manager and supporting the RUH’s staff wellbeing events and other members of the Forever Friends team you will provide effective legacy and project support. This role will help the RUH and Forever Friends appeal with developing and supporting a focused selection of staff wellbeing events to assist with the post pandemic recovery and support for our dedicated and passionate staff across the whole hospital.

This is a very varied role which involves a wide range of duties including support with administration around gifts in wills and the preparation of resource for the promotion of Will month, Dying Matters Week, legacy and tribute schemes internally and externally. Preparation of legacy and tribute packs and resources.You will need bags of initiative, be innovative, brave and positive about learning new ways of working.

A strong team player and able to work autonomously juggling multiple activities simultaneously. SMART objectives, both financial and non-financial, will be allocated, so the post holder must be ambitious and target driven.

Partnerships Co-ordinator

Working under the direction of the Partnerships Manager you will provide work across a range of audiences developing and cultivating relationships with Corporate, Trusts & Foundations, and Wealthy Individuals. You will look after a caseload of supporters from initial research through to cultivation and stewardship ensuring that they have an outstanding personalised supporter journey with “Wow” moments that will inspire further engagement. This will include working across individuals, small trusts and corporates. Contributing to the Partnerships Team’s income targets and demonstrating the positive impact of our work both internally and externally.

This is a very varied role which involves a wide range of duties including searching out, gathering and analyse grant criteria, giving history, appropriate biographical, financial, corporate, philanthropic and network information from a wide variety of sources to ensure prospect / donor data is up-to-date and recorded on database. You will need bags of initiative, be innovative, brave and positive about learning new ways of working.

A strong team player and able to work autonomously juggling multiple activities simultaneously. SMART objectives, both financial and non-financial, will be allocated, so the post holder must be ambitious and target driven.
