This year’s track day at Castle Combe has raised an incredible £6,600 for the RNHRD and Brownsword Therapies Centre that is currently being built at the RUH. Thanks to the Brownsword match funding challenge, we are delighted to announce that the total raised from the Circuit’s track days is over £53,000, a fantastic achievement.

This was the sixth charity track day at Castle Combe and there were more than 50 drivers with their amazing cars ranging from classics such as a Ford GT40 and Triumph GT6 to Porsche and Lotus sports cars and modern saloons.

Maddy Jones, Senior Events Fundraiser said:

“On behalf of the Appeal, I’d like to thank all of the drivers and passengers who attended and donated on the day, as well as Maria Fisher and the Castle Combe Circuit team. We were so pleased to receive a cheque on the day for £5,500 (which has since risen to £6,600!) and grateful for the ongoing support of the Circuit, one of our much-appreciated Senior Community Partners.”

The funds raised will go towards providing the best environment to patients who need specialist therapy, rheumatology and pain services at the RUH, helping to support them and their families at a time when they need it most.
