Get ready to Keep It Cosy on Wednesday 16 December (or any day that suits you) and help show how much you care for the RUH.

From festive fairisle knitwear, to coffee morning catch-ups and film nights, we’re asking you to Keep It Cosy your way, and raise some funds for our patients and RUH Heroes who save lives on Christmas Day, Boxing Day and every day.

 

This Christmas is likely to be a little bit different to how we know it. We will find new traditions and ways of connecting, at a time when it’s never been so important. But there’s a few things we do know. Our hospital’s services will still be needed and even if we can’t be together, we can still come together to help others and end the year with a bit of fun.

 

Whether you take part at home, school or by video calling, we’ve created an activity pack full of tips and ideas to help you navigate the world of virtual fundraising… our version of RUH-dolph’s nose guiding the sleigh at night!

Keep it Cosy

Cosy Knitwear

Grab your comfiest cable-knits, your warmest scarves and your snuggly socks – as long as it’s cosy, it works. Spend the day feeling warm and fuzzy, wrapped up knowing you’ve supported staff and patients at your local hospital this Christmas.

Cosy Camp-In

Cosy up on your sofa, whip up a hot chocolate (pass the marshmallows please), choose an iconic Christmas movie, and relax. Spend your day or evening watching films, playing music telling stories, and spending some much needed time unwinding.

Cosy Cuppa

Do you prefer gingerbread men or mince pies? Tea brewed just right or a big mug of coffee? This is the ultimate cosy showdown.
Organise a virtual coffee morning, afternoon or evening. Bake some goodies, grab a cuppa, and invite friends and family to do the same.

Secret Santa

Instead of trying to work out what you can get your boss for £5, please consider donating it to our Christmas Appeal.
Let the recipient know you have donated on their behalf and are wishing them a very Happy Christmas.
