Run for us! Take on the biggest event in the running calendar!
London Marathon Events has postponed the 2020 Virgin Money London Marathon, which was scheduled to take place on Sunday 26 April. The 2020 Virgin Money London Marathon – The 40th Race – is now scheduled to take place on Sunday 4 October 2020.
The Virgin Money London Marathon is quite simply, legendary. Not only is it bucket-list worthy, it’s also the world’s largest fundraising event…and we want to help you be a part of it!
Do something special today and choose to support our major campaigns, Special Appeals or any other area in the hospital that is close to your heart.
Support us with your place in the London Marathon!
If you are successful in the Virgin Money London Marathon public ballot and received your accepted magazine, or you got your place through a running club, or have a deferred entry we would be delighted to have you run for the RUH Bath, just let us know.
As an own place runner, you receive all the same support from our dedicated Events Team as those with the charity place, but there are no sponsorship targets to meet.
If you already have a place and paid your entry fee through the event organiser you can join our team as an Own Place runner. There’s no minimum fundraising target, just raise as much as you can.
Step 1
Once you’ve secured your own place with the event organiser, please let us know by filling in our online independent place form.
You can raise sponsorship for our major campaigns, special appeals or any other area in the hospital, it’s up to you!
Step 2
When we’ve received your form we’ll send you a fabulous vest, sponsor forms and our fundraising guide full of top tips to maximise your fundraising.
If you wanted to start fundraising now, please go ahead! JustGiving is the online sponsorship platform we recommend to all our fundraisers. It’s quick to set up and simple to use.
- Your friends and family can sponsor at the click of a button
- You can keep track of donations
- No need to use a sponsorship form
- Your sponsorship will automatically be sent to us – you don’t need to do anything
