Last week, motor-enthusiasts enjoyed a thrilling day at Castle Combe, driving old classics and new sports cars. The track day raised over £5,000 for our Therapies Matter campaign which will go towards the RNHRD and Therapies Centre that is currently being built at the RUH.
Thanks to the Brownsword Match funding challenge, this total will be doubled to an amazing £11,500 to support patients who need specialist therapy, rheumatology and pain services at the RUH.
It’s the fifth year that the Castle Combe Team have hosted a charity track day for us and in recognition for their long term commitment, they are now one of our Senior Community Partners.

“On behalf of the Appeal, I’d like to thank everyone who took part and especially to Maria Fisher and the Castle Combe Circuit team. It was a brilliant day, despite the wet weather and to have raised in total £5,750 – what a fantastic result!”
