Zoe Tainton, event organiser comments: “My friends and I love the Pig & Fiddle in Bath and we’re often going there to enjoy the live music acts. We realised there was an opportunity laying right in front of eyes-  to organise a fun event which involves our two loves; music and food. I am actually the Community Fundraiser here at The Forever Friends Appeal, part of my role is to support those who are so kind to organise fundraising events for us. I wanted to follow in their footsteps and organise an event myself, in my hometown. This is my turn to raise funds for all those I have met through The Forever Friends Appeal. I have been touched by some incredible, inspirational and positive people, who have made me feel proud to be part of our current Cancer Care Campaign. I know that this charity makes a huge difference to so many lives around us and I passionately believe that all those affected by cancer, truly deserve this new Cancer Centre. Thank you to all those amazing people who have been so kind, selfless and enthusiastic about raising funds, you are all amazing. I would like to give a huge thank you to our fabulous sponsor for this event- The Flying Pig Renovation Company in Bath, who are specialists in the renovation of prestigious property in and around Bath. Local stores have also been so kind to donate lots of great raffle prizes, the crowds are in for a treat! I would also like to thank The Pig & Fiddle for hosting this event for us, a special thanks to Charlie, Matt & Alex for helping me to get everything sorted. Here’s to a happy day of feel good music and food- woop! ”
