Box Rocks is back

The amazing annual live music festival, Box Rocks, held at the Queens Head in Box, is back for its 23rd year and supporting The Forever Friends Appeal.

This year’s event promises to be bigger and better than ever, with 8 hours of live music from 8 different bands. The event will be held on the Bank Holiday Monday 29th August so come along and join them for a day of fantastic music, and help to raise funds for a vital local cause at the same time.

Box Rocks was first set up on the Bank Holiday Monday 30th May 1994 at The Queens Head, when a group of like-minded musicians decided to raise money for a local cause with performances from an array of bands at the much-loved local pub. Since this time, Box Rocks has gone from strength to strength, growing in popularity and profile to become the local institution that it is today.

The amazing team behind this event have chosen to support The Forever Friends Appeal for the last 13 years, and have raised an absolutely phenomenal total exceeding £28,000! As such, we are delighted to name The Queens Head as a Senior Community Partner for outstanding commitment to supporting the RUH.

Make sure you put the date in your diary for this year’s Box Rocks event and come and celebrate their success with us!
