Bath Rugby is delighted to confirm the three local charities they will be supporting on matchdays this season, alongside the Bath Rugby Foundation.
After receiving nominations from Bath Rugby supporters, and the votes of Bath Rugby season ticket holders, staff and players, and partners being collated, the three chosen charities are:
- RUH Forever Friends Appeal
- Bath Cats and Dogs Home
- Samaritans of Bath
All four charities will benefit from a share of the matchday fundraising throughout the season, visits from Bath Rugby players to events of their choice, promotion through the club website and matchday programme, and additional fundraising support.
Jo Common, Corporate Officer for The Forever Friends Appeal comments: “We have an exciting year ahead and are just so pleased to be one of the lucky charities chosen by Bath Rugby this year. Thank you to everyone who voted for us! All the funds raised for the Appeal will go towards our fundraising for a pioneering new Cancer Centre here at the RUH. So please dig deep in your pockets when you see collectors out and about at the Rec this season – every penny really will make a huge difference!”
