It sees thousands of people hit the streets of Bath and raises more than £2 million a year for charity.
Organisers of the BathHalf, sponsored by Vitality, have announced, which good causes will benefit from next year’s event.
Macmillan Cancer Support has been named as the event’s lead charity with Bath Rugby Foundation as the family fun run charity, and the Royal United Hospital’s Forever Friend’s Appeal as the charity appeal.
Time is Precious has been selected as the local charity and Laureus Sport for Good Foundation is the official run series charity.
Around 15,000 runners now take part in the city’s half marathon, which will celebrate its 35th anniversary in 2016.
Charity director, Mel Taylor, said: “Our aim, as always, is to put on a great event which supports these charities and brings a fantastic spectacle to the city of Bath. ”
The list of people running 2016’s half marathon in support of these charities is already growing with former Coronation Street actor Will Thorp running for Time is Precious.
