Madison Oakley are raising funds for the Butterfly Room at the RUH Labour Ward by walking from their Moorland Road office to Radstock along the Two Tunnels cyclepath in fancy dress. Starting at 11am on 28th June, you are welcome to join them for any or all of the route (fancy dress is optional!) and they’d also be very grateful for any donations to support their chosen charity.
All the funds raised through the walk will go towards The Butterfly Room, on the RUH’s Labour Ward, which has been developed as a dedicated suite for families facing stillbirth. The room is away from the hustle and bustle of Labour Ward, and is designed to allow the family the space and privacy to give birth and then spend time with their baby, making precious memories in their short time together. The team intend to furnish the suite in a more homely way than is usual in hospital, with a sofa, coffee table and reclining chair for birth partners, along with restful artwork – but the funds must be raised to do this! Donations welcome via The Forever Friends Appeal at www.justgiving.com/RUHButterflyRoom
