British bagmakers and celebrities have created items for a charity auction as part of Bath in Fashion.
Celebrities including Winter Olympic gold medalist Amy Williams, milliner Stephen Jones, interiors expert Nina Campbell, supermodel Jade Parfitt and fashion writer Iain R Webb have designed bags.
They are on display in a pop-up shop in Milsom Place.
They will be auctioned at an online auction.
The celebrities’ ideas were turned into reality thanks to British Bagmakers, which is based near Radstock, and which makes Liz Cox label bags as well as those for other top designer brands.
All the money raised from the auction will go to the Forever Friends Appeal, which is improving cancer services at the Royal United Hospital.
Ms Cox said: “If a handbag can help provide any lady with uncompromising cancer care at the RUH then that handbag is a lifetime’s treasure worth owning.”
Development officer at the appeal Sue Tucker said: “We are delighted to be involved and benefiting from this wonderful event, the designs are lovely.
“And I am sure will be a must-have item for the fashion-conscious amongst us.”
