If your Christmas list isn’t complete yet, come along to Snapdragons on Weston Road to browse the collection of exciting stalls and games. Indulge in warm food and drink, paint your Christmas mugs, pick out your favourite bubbly from the bottle tombola and last but not least, come into a fabulous sparkling, wintry grotto where Father Christmas will be delivering some early Christmas presents. Father Christmas will also be joined by Big Ted from the Forever Friends Appeal, at this festive family-friendly party.
Zoe Tainton, Community Fundraiser comments: “Snapdragons have been loyal supporters of the Forever Friends Appeal- helping us over the past 12 years. We cannot thank them enough for all the fundraising they have done. They have been busy with all types of fundraising activities, everything from; collection tins, Summer Fayres, Ted’s Big Day Out and this fabulous Winter Wonderland. They have pulled out their pockets for all the patients and families receiving care at the RUH. We would like to give a huge thanks to the staff, parents and even the smallest babies at all the nurseries in Bath and surrounding areas.”
Zoe continues: “Families- children and parents should book this date in their diary for the best Winter Wonderland this Christmas. There will be plenty of things to do with the children and the chance to fulfill their dreams of meeting the one and only Santa Claus. It is going to be fun.”
Rosemary Collard, Owner says: “As a Bath owned nursery group, Snapdragons cares for hundreds of local children, many of whom along with their parents and the nursery staff, have personal experience of the RUH, especially the maternity and neonatal care. It’s great for us to be able to give something back to the hospital in recognition of the fantastic care they provide.”
