After the success of the inaugural PIE Talks, Mea Fabula Films are proud to announce the second of the three events ‘PIE Talks’, all to raise money for The Forever Friends Appeal, the primary fundraising charity for the Royal United Hospital (RUH), Bath.
For October’s event, the PIE Talks are switching focus to different ways of expressing your personality. We will be touching on cooking and belly dancing, clowning and parenting, making for a unique and eclectic evening. As always they’ll be a Q&A afterwards where the audience can ask questions.
The speakers for the second event are Wafaa Powell, who loves belly dancing and Lebanese cooking, and Wayne Lindsay, imagining director of Bath-based creative consultancy Imaginnovation® and currently studying contemporary clowning.
Wafaa’s talk is called “Across continents and cultures” and Wayne’s “Playing with space”. The band is Silver Phoenix, a five piece that plays music from the 60s and 70s with a few modern ones thrown in for good measure. Ticket prices are £8 for an adult, £2 for a child and the money raised is donated to the Forever Friends Appeal at the RUH.
