The NHS’ birthday is coming up on Friday 5 July and following the success of last year’s NHS BIG7Tea campaign, we are asking people to raise a cuppa to celebrate our wonderful health service.
The NHS Big Tea is an opportunity to come together and host your own tea party on or around 5 July. Let’s invite friends, family and colleagues to mark the occasion and support our charity’s work in the process.
Laura Pearce, Events and Community Officer said:
“Tea brings us all together. It breaks down social boundaries, and like the NHS it is a symbol of comfort and community.
“We would like to encourage as many people as possible to organise a tea party on or around 5 July to mark the 71st birthday of the NHS, and raise vital funds for The Forever Friends Appeal.”
