There are many ways for schools and nurseries to get involved and engage their pupils to help make a difference in their local community and to the children who will use the Royal United Hospital.
A member of our Community and Events team, would be happy to visit your school or nursery to talk about supporting the hospital and any ideas that you may have. A discussion about the hospital can often support subject areas of the national curriculum such as citizenship and personal social and health education.
Schools that decide to fundraise for The Forever Friends Appeal over a period of time can benefit from opportunities such as assembly talks, hospital tours and visits to school from our very own mascot, Big Ted!
Throughout the year we have a number of organised Charity events that your school could get involved in. To find out more about what’s coming us, visit our events page. For more inspiration on holding your own events, take a look at our ‘A-Z of Fundraising Ideas‘.
